Trialling coordinate-guided propagule dispersal

A trial across a three-hectare plot showed an average deviation of 0.8 metres between planned position and where propagules actually landed. That number matters because planting suitability in mangroves is acutely sensitive to substrate elevation: a few tens of centimetres can decide whether a seedling stays submerged too long or dries out. The next round of testing will check whether the figure holds up in stronger wind.
